Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose an indoor localization method using a captured V matrix, which is used in the devices complying with an IEEE 802.11ac wireless LAN standard. The terminal is localized by using the V matrix, which is feedbacked from the terminal to an AP (Access Point). The array aperture comparable to the positioning distance enables the use of the spherical mode vector to localize the target. Since the number of antennas supported by the V matrix is limited, a non-uniform array is used to suppress the grating lobes, which is generated by a widely spaced array. The non-uniform array structure is determined by the simulation, and the localization performance is experimentally verified. The experiment with 0.8×0.9 m2 positioning area shows that the proposed method localizes the target with 0.46 m accuracy on 75% value.
