Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Recently, the next generation (5-th generation: 5G) mobile communication systems have been actively investigated all over the world. Various systems exist when considering the microwave bands after the introduction of 5 G systems. Hence, the propagation characteristics when considering the interference among the systems is very important. In this study, we focus on the fact that wireless communication devices such as smartphones and wireless LANs are mainly used indoors in various environments. In previous studies, we evaluated the propagation loss due to the difference in the angle of the vertical plane in the environment where radio waves enter from outdoors to indoors. In this report, we measured the loss when radio waves enter from outdoor to indoor(O2I) through a window at 0.9/2.3/5.1 GHz band where many IoT devices are expected to be used. Form the analysis result by the data obtained measurement, we propose a simple O2I penetration path loss model by incident angles in the vertical and horizontal plane. |
