| Abstract(in English) | In these days, spread of telework and prevention of infectious diseases have led to a rapid increase in demand for tele-conferencing. As a result, increase of Internet traffic is concerned. Hiding video media in tele-conferences can be effective to reduce the Internet traffic. However, lacking non-verbal information in voice only communications may impair smoothness of dialogue and work achievement may decrease. In this study, we aim to clarify the influence of the video media in tele-conferences from two viewpoints of interactive thinking and turn-taking in a dialogue. In this paper, we design a preliminary experiment to measure the effects of the video media in the tele-conferences quantitatively and describe the results of preliminary experiments. Based on the experimental results, the interactive thinking task is needed to be re-designed to facilitate more dialogues. |
