Gait Based Gender Classification via Siamese Network

Abstract(in English) An approach for gender classification from a walking image sequence is constructing CNN-based model that uses a gait energy image for input. We focus on Siamese network, and implement CNN-based gender classification model using Siamese network. In this paper, we report the evaluation results of the implemented model. For the evaluation, we also report classification accuracy of each age group. Moreover, we evaluate human ability of gender classification from a gait feature. We compare accuracy of human-based and CNN-based gender classification.
