Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | As computer networks grow increasingly complex and cyberattacks become more sophisticated, better methods are needed to provide effective security. Intrusion detection systems (IDS) are a fundamental part of network security. One type of system is anomaly-based systems, which model normal network behavior to detect both known and unknown attacks. However, many approaches to anomaly-based systems utilize machine learning, which are costly to develop and operate. In this research, we propose a lightweight anomaly-based intrusion detection method based on social network analysis principals. |
