Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study aimed to reveal the features of frisson by comparing the brain responses during experiencing the frisson with during listening to music simply. The brain responses were measured by changes of the hemoglobin concentration in the prefrontal cortex with NIRS. Participants responded whether they felt frisson at the specific points during listening to the music. The brain responses related to the subjective report of frisson result suggested that the one channel included in DLPFC area was involved in reporting frisson evoked by listening to the music.
