Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we have investigated the sheet resistance Rs and the chemi-resistive gas sensing properties of the ultra-thin reduced graphene oxide films deposited by layer-by-layer (LbL) deposition of aqueous dispersed rGO or GO and polymer films (poly(diallyldimethyl-ammoniumchloride)(PDDA) or poly(ethyleneimine)(PEI). The Rs value linearly increase with the increment of acetone and ammonia gas concentration (0.1-4.0 ppm) within 2-3 s probably due to the change in carrier concentration of rGO surface. The rGO/PDDA films show higher sensitivity with acetone gas and rGO/PEI films show higher sensitivity with ammonia gas. The Rs of rGO/PEI films is much lower than rGO/PDDA films and Rs father decreases with chemical reduction with hydrazine treatment.
