Study on Effect of GCL Allocation of Time-Aware Shaper on QoS

Abstract(in English) This paper evaluates the effect of the Gate Control List (GCL) on QoS over an Ethernet-based in-vehicle network which uses Time-Aware Shaper (TAS) as its QoS control by simulation. In this simulation, the authors target an in-vehicle network based on the Zonal architecture, which is the next generation in-vehicle network architecture; they evaluate QoS for various GCLs for multiple switches of the in-vehicle network. The experimental results show that the provided QoS greatly depends on the GCL.
