Abstract(in English) | In this paper, an optical wireless turbo coding system having a self-synchronization method. In particular, an optical wireless turbo code with a hybrid pulse-position-modulation and on-off keying signaling (HPOS), which uses the racing counters scheme as the asynchronization system, is addressed. The error rate performance taking into account a synchronization performance is evaluated. As a result, it is shown that there is a floor phenomenon in bit error rate including synchronization performance. The bit error rate including the synchronization performance can be improved by tuning the parameters of the racing counters. |
