Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Virtual Reality (VR) plays an important role in various situations such as simulation and training. In recent years, haptic technology has been used for VR, making it possible to touch CG objects that cannot be touched in reality, improving the immersive feeling of VR content. In order to take advantage of the free space of VR, haptic technology for the feet is a remarkable technology in VR. In this research, we develop a haptic device that produces the haptic sensation of various ground textures on the sole.
