Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In case of one of serious brain tumour, glioblastoma whose cure rate is pretty low, the promising therapy is to pass the anti-tumour drug from blood side to the brain side, by irradiating ultrasound to BBB attached with the blood vessel in which microbubbles are filled by the intravenous injection prior to its therapy, to open TJ (tight junction) of BBB. But BBB is the important path which transmit the lactate and the amino acid to the whole body. So it must be closed as soon as the said drug cross BBB. So, In this study how to open/ close BBB physically and concretely is discussed. |
