Abstract(in English) | Neural networks have been actively studied as a future electronics technology. However, since the von Neumann-type arithmetic processing method cannot efficiently process a large amount of information, the neurocomputing method capable of parallel distributed processing is attracting attention. We are conducting research and development of neural networks using thin film devices. In this study, we created In-Ga-Zn-O (IGZO) thin film synapses for neural networks using LSI. We evaluated the synaptic properties of IGZO thin films and confirmed the basic operation of synaptic devices. We also succeeded in a character recognition experiment using the created device. |
