Abstract(in English) | In recent years, the number of bicycle accidents has been increasing in urban areas. In this paper, we conducted an experiment on urban-narrow bicycle-pedestrian-road with a 77 GHz band FMCW MIMO radar to support safe riding of a bicycle and forward. Mode of the relative velocity was calculated, and relative velocities of objects were compared with mode of the relative velocity. It is approaching moving objects, when relative velocities of the objects are higher than the mode relative velocity in the negative direction It also defined a dangerous area for bicycles. If objects exist in the area, it is judged as a dangerous object and drivers will be warned. We propose such an algorithm. When the radar was stationary, obstacles were stationary and pedestrians could be detected at walking speed. When the radar was moved, obstacles could be detected by the speed of the vehicle, and pedestrians could be detected by the sum of velocities of the vehicle and pedestrians. Furthermore, based on relative velocities of objects and the proposed warning algorithm, only pedestrians approaching the radar were extracted. |
