Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Due to the recent influence of COVID-19, online communication tools are rapidly becoming widespread. In online communication, it is difficult to convey nonverbal information, and it is difficult to obtain "sympathy," which is important in communication. Existing SNS tools have buttons to achieve "sympathy", however there is a problem that it is difficult to use when they are passive. Therefore, in this study, we grasp the unconsciously generated "sympathy" emotions from biological information. This makes it possible to discover "sympathy" without intentionally expressing emotions. By obtaining the correlation values of brain waves and heart rate variability as biological information, we evaluated whether sympathy was obtained under the conditions of video on and video off. Then, the result was that the significance probability was high in the section with high correlation value. From this, it was suggested that online communication can be performed more effectively by grasping "sympathy" from biological information. |
