Abstract(in English) | This paper presents radio frame timing detection performance using demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) after detecting physical-layer cell identity (PCID) for synchronization signal (SS)/physical broadcast channel (PBCH) block for New Radio (NR) initial access. We propose an accurate DM-RS sequence detection method that is specific to the SS/PBCH block index multiplexed in an SS burst set. Computer simulation results show that by using the proposed radio frame timing detection method with the best parameters, the frame timing detection probability of approximately 92 % is achieved after the PCID are actually detected at the average received SNR of 0 dB with the frequency stability of a user equipment of 5 ppm at the 4-GHz carrier frequency. |
