[招待講演]ガウス過程に基づく実社会ロボットラーニング

Abstract(in English) Due to the decreasing birthrate and labor force, expectations are rising for the automatic operation of various robots and mechanical systems operating in the real world using AI. However, such real-world robots have issues such as 1) high data collection cost and 2) no sensor to capture the situation, so it is not easy to apply machine learning. We will introduce our recent attempts to automate an actual boat and a waste crane operating in a waste incineration plant in this talk. Our approach employs Gaussian processes that estimate the underlying functions of the input/output data.
