Abstract(in English) | The prediction of the incident power density employing the inverse source method is studied for human exposure assessment of wireless devices in close proximity to the human body. The spatial-averaged incident power density is used as measure of the exposure at above 6 GHz including sub-millimeter and millimeter wave bands. The power density is given by the electric and magnetic fields originated from the device under test (DUT), but measuring the fields in close proximity to the DUT has the problem such as the mutual coupling between the probe and the DUT. To deal with such a issue, use of the reconstruction algorithm is considered which gives the fields close to the DUT from the measured fields distanced from the DUT. In this manuscript, the reconstruction algorithm employing the inverse source method is studied and compared with the plane-wave spectrum method. |
