Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A signal using pulse trains arranged at power intervals applicable to the correlation domain analysis is proposed. The accuracy of Brillouin spectra measured by conventional correlation domain analysis method may be reduced due to the notch of uncorrelated gain. On the other hand, the uncorrelated gain of the proposed method is flat and does not degrade the accuracy of the detection of the peak gain frequency, so it can be measured with high accuracy. In the empirical experiment, the measurement of the distribution over 94 m fiber with a spatial resolution of 5 cm was demonstrated and a distinct change in the Brillouin frequency shift was observed.
