Abstract(in English) | The use of wireless in various recent devices has a great influence on the radio environment. We have engaged in the research and development (R&D) of technology to select the optimal wireless communication system and transmission parameters taking account for radio environment. In this research, we have developed a small-sized radio wave monitoring node “Radio Catcher” to easy measure of noise and interference. This monitoring node can carry out monitoring of spectrum and spectrogram at the same time with a bandwidth of 100 MHz at a frequency from 400 MHz to 6 GHz. By mounting the signal processing circuit on the FPGA and displaying the results on a PC, various advanced features other can also be implemented on the same platform. For example, we have developed features such as “LoRa Finder” that detects LoRa signals, “Channel Measure” that outputs the channel utilization rate of Wi-Fi and the 920 MHz band as a histogram, and “IQ Recorder” that records IQ signals and analyzes them in the time domain / frequency domain. In this presentation, we will introduce these features while demonstrating “Radio Catcher.” In addition, we will also introduce the “Radio Catcher petit,” which has a simple function to measure channel power and whose volume is reduced to 1/3 or less than the “Radio Catcher.” We are now preparing to provide these devices and functions to wireless researchers and engineers as common wireless platforms. |
