Abstract(in English) | In the MRI diffusion simulation for cerebral blood vessels effects, the calculation time is tended to long when a adequate physiological conditions. Therefore, we examined the simulation program with a general-purpose image processing unit (GPU) to reduce calculation time. Several elements such as threads and grids are prepared in the GPU, and the optimization method differs depending on the simulation model. Our simulation method was using the equal number of thread and grids and parallelizing is applied for 10,000 iterations of proton. As a result of our experiment, it was confirmed that the calculation time was reduced to about 1/20 by using GPU. |
