Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The flavoprotein autofluorescence imaging (FAI) is a functional optical imaging method of the brain that utilizes the green autofluorescence change associated with its metabolic level. This method allows label-free and long-term measurement of brain function. However, the in vivo FAI data contain significant noise due to fluctuations in blood volume change. To solve this problem, several methods have been proposed to correct the fluorescence signal. In this study, we propose a novel correction method based on the modified Lambert-Beer law. The proposed method provides a finer brain map responding to visual stimuli than conventional methods. This result suggests that the proposed method has a better correction ability than the conventional method. |
