Abstract(in English) | Malignant neoplasm (cancer) accounts for 30% of the total deaths in Japan. And the lung cancer is the most cause of the deaths, especially. Almost 80% of the lung cancer is the non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and it is resected by the video-assisted thoracic surgery. The lung cancer position is estimated by visually finding the marker added on the surface near the cancerous tissue. But it takes a lot of time to find it and the advanced skills are needed. In this paper, resonant-type of electrode have been proposed to shorten the time to find the cancer position, to improve the accuracy of the estimation of the cancer position, and to relieve the burden of the surgery. The possibility to detect NSCLC in the lung was confirmed using the resonant-type of the electrode in high frequency region. |
