Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The SPR hetero-core type optical fiber sensor using Au-Ta metal thin film capable of detecting water showed a decrease in sensitivity when soil gravity water was detected. Therefore, experiments based on changes in light intensity of the optical fiber sensor revealed that the substances that cause a decrease in sensitivity were inorganic compounds containing heavy metals and some organic compounds. In the SPR hetero-core type fiber sensor with Au-Ta-Au metal thin film, the light intensity was changed by some inorganic compound solutions. We report the possibility that the SPR hetero-core fiber sensor can detect and measure the concentration of the inorganic compound solution.
