Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Infrastructure networks such as communication networks are necessary in modern society. They become larger and more complicated with the passage of time. On the other hand, failures caused by climate change and large earthquake affect our society widely. Therefore, to analyze the vulnerability of existing networks is important for searching reinforcement points of them. In this paper, we apply a method in mathematical physics by using the special characteristics of path matrices to find non-intersecting paths between two points in backbone communication networks efficiently and quantitatively. Moreover, we evaluate the vulnerability of paths between two points.
