Abstract(in English) The effect of the melting point (Tm) of various grain boundary materials on the structure and magnetic properties of FePt granular films was investigated. According to the analysis, the saturation magnetization had a strong correlation with Tm unlike degree of order, the grain diameter, and the coercivity. It was found that an increase of the grain diameter increases the degree of order, which results in enhancement of the coercivity of the FePt granular films.
