Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There is a growing demand for smartphone video editing tools to match the BGM in order to share videos on SNS. However, the current video editing tools for smartphones require a lot of time to edit and do not allow intuitive editing because "editing" and "confirmation by playback" are separated. It is also difficult to perform detailed editing by dragging a finger. In this study, we use a linear editing system, which is the editing system for video tapes. We propose a quick video editing tool “taplin” that enables users to edit a short video to match a BGM. We also conducted an experiment to verify the usability. As a result, we found that taplin can edit a video to match the BGM in less time and with fewer taps than the conventional tools.
