Abstract(in English) | In this study, we investigated the effects of depth order of motion stimulus on forward-and-backward and circular vection. We measured the direction and strength of vection while viewing circular motion and linear motion in depth using by a HMD and a joystick. Previous studies indicated that vection is affected only by the background motion, but the present results showed that foreground motion may also affect vection when forward-and-backward motion and circular motion were presented in the foreground and background space. This result suggests that the properties of the vection caused by the combination of forward-and-backward motion and circular motion are different from those caused by the combination of coaxial motion. |
