Abstract(in English) | To develop a location guidance system for the visually impaired, we conducted research on three new positioning methods that can be used at the system interface. The methods are 1) outdoor positioning using Global Positioning System (GPS) with dual antennas, 2) a solar Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon, and 3) an invisible Quick Response (QR) code. Based on the results, we confirmed the operation of GPS while standing beside a building, confirmed the use of a solar BLE beacon, and examined the possibility of applying an invisible QR code. In addition, the recent application of visible light communication for positioning was investigated. |
