| Abstract(in English) | This paper studies a three-layer dynamic binary neural network with time-variant parameters and its application. The network is characterized by the signum activation function and ternary connection parameters. The parameters are constant in each time interval and are switched into different value at the end of interval. If the parameters are set to store a desired periodic orbit in each interval, the time-variant parameters can realize switching of periodic orbits. We then consider application to control of the hexapod walking robots, where a periodic orbit corresponds to a walking pattern. Presenting an FPGA based hardware, switching of typical walking patterns is confirmed experimentally. |
