Abstract(in English) | A future targeted attacks would infect a network with a malware program and then tampers packet-forwarding routes. As a solution against such an attack, we have been studying a metabolic network. This network comprises a virtual network and it is replaced to the initialized virtual networks one after another. By means of repetition of this procedure, even undetectable malware programs can be removed from the network. Here, in the conventional network-replacing scheme, virtual networks are replaced instantaneously. However, due to packet-forwarding latency, some packets are remained in the replaced network and discarded. In order to solve this problem, we propose the scheme where the egress edge router receives packets from both of the replacing and the replaced virtual-networks for a while after the replacement. |
