Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed an application system to determine the location of relay nodes in a mesh-type wireless sensor network of 2.4 GHz and 920 MHz for agriculture and forestry. This application is a static placement system. First, the transmission range of each initial node is defined by RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) simulation value in complicated terrain. Then, a newly proposed search algorithm is used to configure optimal relay nodes, considering LOS (line-of-sight) and NLOS (non-line-of-sight) condition.
