Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Researches of wireless multi-hop networks are making actively as attempting to spreading the usage range of wireless networks. In a wireless multi-hop network like wireless mesh networks, sensor networks, and ad-hoc networks, terminals and APs (Access Points) are wirelessly connected to each other to provide mobility and wide communication area. A routing method is important because terminals and APs have different processing abilities and wireless environments. In particular, concentration of load and dealing with various network environments are issues to be solved. In this paper, we propose a routing method that uses the reinforcement learning which is a kind of the machine learning to suppress the use of load-intensive routes and achieves adaptation to various network environments. As a result of performance evaluation by simulation, it is shown that the communication performance is improved compared with a conventional method.
