Abstract(in English) | Information centric network (ICN) aims to realize efficient content delivery by using in-network caching. Some studies are being conducted to reduce the content delivery time for users by appropriately allocating content replicas in the cache of each node in ICNs. We have proposed a lightweight replica allocation control that each replica autonomously move to an appropriate node only using its local information. Although various networks in the real world have a scale-free structure, we have not clarified the effect of the scale-free structure on the proposed replica allocation control. In this paper, we investigate this effect through simulation experiments using random networks with different strength of the scale-free structure. As a result, we show that the replica allocation can achieve the fairness among users, although the effect of the scale-free structure on the proposed control is not large. |
