Abstract(in English) | In this study, we propose a method of battery health diagnoses by the Hierarchical Bayesian model with the internal condition changes contributed by degradation. To understand the cause of capacity degradation on Lithium-ion Battery(LiB) affected greatly from the way to use and the environment, the charging/discharging experiment was performed considering degradation mechanisms. The interaction for the stress was analyzed statistically. Firstly, we performed a systematic charging/discharging experiment with 18650 LiB. From the statistical analysis of capacity degradation, the interaction between cycle degradation and calendar degradation was confirmed. Secondly, the equivalent circuit model of the LiB was estimated by the electrochemical impedance method. The relation between the internal condition changes and capacity degradation was observed by using the equivalent circuit model. From the relation between the changing and capacity degradation, we found charge transfer resistance increase of cathode contributes to capacity degradation. Based on these results, we estimate charge transfer resistance with the characters in the early stages of charging/discharging curves, we propose the Hierarchical Bayesian model that diagnoses the state of degradation. |
