Abstract(in English) | Ranging precision is a important performance index in FMCW LiDAR, which is one of ranging technologies using light. In FMCW LiDAR, a point spread function (PSF) representing the surface of the object to be measured is generated by frequency conversion, and the peak frequency of the PSF is replaced with the distance for ranging. Since the PSF is calculated using discrete Fourier transform with computer, the PSF becomes discrete data, and therefore the PSF peak was calculated using the zero padding method. The power spectrum is usually used for PSF calculation. Here, when the ranging precision is compared with the case of using the spectrum, the precision is higher when the spectrum is used. It is considered that the power spectrum emphasizes noise superimposed on the peak of the PSF. |
