Abstract(in English) | In 2020, full-scale operation of the 5th generation mobile communication (5G) system was started in each country, but the allocated frequency bandwidth isn’t sufficiently wide. To cope with further traffic increase in the future, spectrum sharing with other systems and spectrum sharing between 5G systems are important. Moreover recently, the local 5G, which is independently operated by local communication users, has been spread, and it is important that these systems should be operated without interference. In this paper, we propose methods that aim at spectrum sharing between local 5G systems and estimate the area (radio protected area) that doesn’t interfere with each other. This paper proposes two methods: a method considering the effect of single-knife-edge diffraction on a free-space propagation model (Proposed method-A), and a method combining the Proposed method-A and the extended Hata model (Proposed method-B). The proposed models are evaluated using actual RSSI (received signal strength indicator) measured at the Kyoto University to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods. |
