Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Under the Work System Reform by the government, the importance of efficient and effective ways that enhance group productivity in a working environment is growing. To facilitate intellectual productivity within a group using SenseChair, this study investigated nodding among group members during an idea generation task. Preliminary, nodding was recorded using SenceChair as well as a camera-based method, and they were both similarly consistent with what human observers had detected. In an experiment, we measured participants’ nodding using SenceChair during an idea generation task. The results showed that the participants nodded more frequently after the idea was generated.
