Abstract(in English) | Non-linear dynamical systems serving as the reservoir has attracted much attention in physical reservoir computing. Here we propose a circuit-based system with the simplest form of nonlinearity, which is the I-V response of many materials. We show that insufficient dynamics in our reservoir system with independent node-processors can be assisted by external control to perform like complex dynamical systems. Moreover, we compared the performance of this system with traditional echo state network (ESN) in different tasks, divulging the correlation between structures of reservoir and training mechanisms. Our results are expected to generate application prospects of material-based devices for informational processing. |
