| 抄録(和) | 空間的マスキング効果は，両耳聴によるマスキングをマスカおよびマスキーの音源配置との関係でみたもので，その全容を明らかにすることにより，空間的特性を考慮した音信号の符号化などへの応用が期待される．一方で，空間的マスキング効果に影響を与えるパラメータの数は，マスカおよびマスキーの時間周波数特性や音源配置など莫大であり，それらの影響を考慮してマスキングに関する聴取実験を通じてその全容を明らかにするのは非現実的である．本稿では，単耳のマスキングモデルと両耳聴によるマスキングレベル差の一つである等化消去モデルの組み合わせに基づいて空間的マスキング効果の推定を試みた．その結果，マスキーの音源方向によるマスキング閾値の差を，提案手法によりある程度の精度で推定できることが明らかとなった． |
| 抄録(英) | The Spatial Auditory Masking is the relation of binaural masking to positions of sound sources corresponding to masker and maskee, and making clear its property leads to its application to the codec of the sound signals taking the spatial characteristics of the corresponding sound sources. On the other hand, number of the parameters affecting the Spatial Auditory Masking is numerous such as the time-frequency characteristics and positions of the masker and maskee, hence it is unpractical to investigate the Spatial Auditory Masking based on the hearing experiments. In this article, estimation of the Spatial Auditory Masking was attemped based on combination of two auditory models concerning a single-ear masking and a model of Binaural Masking Level Difference (BMLD), named the Equalization and Cancellation (EC) model. As a result, difference in maskee threshold due to the position of the maskee sound could be roughly estimated by using our proposed method. |
