| Abstract(in English) | In rural areas, although the environment surrounding public transportation is harsh, residents need regional public transportation such as community buses. The information on the number of passengers getting on and off the bus is very important data for measuring the effect of various measures for the improvement and activation of regional public transportation and grasping the usage situation of regional public transportation. In this research, we developed a simple system that automatic counting system for the number of passengers getting on and off the bus using image processing and verified its accuracy. High detection accuracy was obtained by image processing using the background subtraction method. |
