Abstract(in English) | We demonstrated a propagation direction interleaved cladding pumped 19-core EDFA and confirm the reduction effect of core-to-core crosstalk. The optimum pattern of propagation direction of hexagonal close-packed 19-core EDFA is considered. Amplification characteristics for backward pumped signals are almost the same as forward pumped ones. |
