User-Density Dependent Autonomous Clustering for MANET

Abstract(in English) Hierarchical routing is required for scalable route control in MANET, and the technology of autonomous distributed clustering for user terminals has been studied. In this technology, it is required that the clustering of terminals be dynamically configured by adapting to various movement patterns of users by the autonomous decentralized operation of terminals. Furthermore, it is necessary to avoid the concentration of power consumption on a specific terminal and to reduce the cost due to frequent changes in the cluster structure. In this paper, we propose an autonomous distributed clustering method that can be applied to various user movements including changes in user density by mutually complementing existing studies that consider smoothing power consumption and cluster reconstruction cost.
