Abstract(in English) | National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) have developed and operates a Earth Station in Motion for Ka-band, that can be communicated while in moving. In the urban area, however, the Earth Station in Motion cannot be communicated with satellite due to shield objects such as buildings, utility poles, roadside tree etc. And also, the shadowing area could be different depending on the Geostationary orbit even in the case of the same Earth Station in Motion for Ka-Band. Therefore, in order to grasp the shadowing characteristics by the difference of the geostationary orbit, the shadowing ratio of each geostationary orbit was estimated and compared in Sendai city, Japan. |
