Abstract(in English) | The numerical analysis of a large-scale array antenna is computationally expensive, so it is essential to speed up the computation. In this research, we propose a fast method of moments using the far-field approximation of the dyadic green function in free space and numerically demonstrate its effectiveness. The proposed method enables to deal with the contribution of the wave source and observation points to the mutual impedance, separately. As a result, the proposed method can compute the mutual coupling among current segments that are far from each other collectively and short CPU time is expected. Numerical analysis of two-dimensional periodic array antennas is performed by the proposed method, and the effectiveness of the method is shown via its accuracy and computational cost. |
