Experimental Verification of Shadowing Classification for Measurement-based Spectrum Database

Abstract(in English) As a hybrid estimation method of the radio environment, we have proposed a shadowing classifier. In the shadowing classifier, the database server creates $K$ shadowing models based on the measurement datasets. By using the shadowing classifier, the registered data size can be reduced while the high estimation accuracy can be kept. However, in the previous work, we have only evaluated the accuracy of the classification using the datasets on an urban environment. Therefore, in this paper, we evaluate the accuracy of the shadowing classification using two kinds of datasets. The emulation results show that it is necessary to appropriately choose the clustering method according to the presence or absence of outliers.
