| Abstract(in English) | A distributed and cooperative cache server has been proposed to reduce the Internet traffic which increases by spread of Video-on-Demand services. The cache servers can expand their storage capacity by making a group of distributed cache servers. On the other hand, the performance bottleneck rises by the traffic among cache servers. Our research group proposes Interconnected-FPGAs which connects multiple FPGA boards by a dedicated optical network as well as equipping with tightly coupled flash storage. The technical report introduces an implementation of the distributed and cooperative cache server on Interconnected-FPGAs for offloading a part of tasks. We show that our implementation reduces the response time for the content request messages. |
