Abstract(in English) | It is challenging to simulate electromagnetic phenomena, such as common-mode current for in-vehicle equipment that complies with the CIRPR 25 measurement standard, since the long and complicated wires cannot model accurately. Therefore, we propose an equivalent circuit model that is composed of a common-mode bundled cable and a common-mode excitation source in this report. Here, even if the original model is a differential transmission system, the common-mode current is generated due to the imbalances of components such as a common-mode filter, the cable and the termination circuit. The proposed model takes into account the Scd21 representing the mode conversion from differential-mode to common-mode, in addition to the Scc21 representing the transmission characteristic of common-mode. The calculated common-mode current flowing the cable by using the proposed model is in agreement with an average error of 3dB compared to the measurement for the circuit without the common-mode filter. It also agrees with an average error of 5dB compared to the measurement for the circuit with the common-mode filter. |
