Implementation of an AP selection system considering communication quality requirements in a heterogeneous wireless network

Abstract(in English) In recent years, many applications requiring high bandwidth capacity have been developed and likely to be used in crowded places where the response speed is deteriorated. Our previous researches have proposed a method of allocating the optimum access point according to the application being used. However, the experimental environment for verifying the actual device has not been built yet. The impact on the quality of user’s experience has not been verified yet, either. This paper shows an access point allocation system implemented in a virtual private server and a real mobile device for investigating the feasibility in a prototype environment.
