[Tutorial Invited Lecture] Fast calculation methods for electro-holography considering application and communication

Abstract(in English) The enormous computational complexity is one of the significant issue for the practical use of an electro-hologrpahy, which is discribed as the ``ultimate'' three-dimentional (3D) video technology because it can replay physiologically natural 3D image. In addition, the amount of data is extremely large, and it poses a major challenge to the remote distribution of video, such as television. The author has been trying to solve these problems from the viewpoint of fast computational techniques such as computation reduction algorithms and fast computer design. In this paper, I describe some of researches on high-speed computation and data transmission schemes that take into account the assumed applications and communications, including the author's latest achievements.
