Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Maximally asymmetric functions are discrete functions such that "asymmetry" defined by the minimum Hamming distance from symmetric functions is maximum. While many studies on symmetric functions have been reported, few studies on maximally asymmetric functions have been reported. It is said that maximally asymmetric functions can be promising for applications such as CDMA communication and encryption, due to randomness of their function value vectors. However, generation methods of maximally asymmetric functions or even their characteristics are not well known. This paper shows characteristics of maximally asymmetric functions, and presents a decision method and an automatic generation method of maximally asymmetric functions based on the characteristics. |
